A local carpenter built ALL wood work in the villa from "primavera wood", a tropical, light-colored, hard wood that means "Spring" in Spanish and resists termites.
He has a shop barely held together with clothes pins, yet he does this
beautiful work. |

Copa de Oro flowers peek in from the kitchen window. Our villa is named after these beautiful tropical flowers.
Copa de Oro means "cup of gold" in Spanish, and we feel we found that cup of gold here in Manzanillo.
