There is a wonderful place
outside the folding doors of the vacation villa to drop your golf clubs and surf
boards. A hose is
by the side of the wall to wash the sand and salt from your surf boards as well
as your feet, beach balls, and beach play things.
On the left, Aztec God Chaute-Mol protects from evil spirits.
Choc-mol, the Mayan God of Rain, is on the right.

The futons unfold to sleep two extra guests, plus trundles underneath pull out to accommodate another two. |

This room serves many interests:
a welcome entrance, family room, entertainment room, office, and extra sleeping
area. A casual room to play cards, games, or darts. |
|

|
This lovely balcony, off the master bedroom, is decorated with local artisans' pottery and is perfect for greeting your guests as they arrive honking their cars up the driveway.

The bunganvillas and copa de oro vines climb over
the arch and walls, which are made of large rocks gathered from the river beds
of the El Salto waterfall area, which is about an hour away.

|
We built the arch on the ramp so the Copa de Oro flowers could grow around it.
The stain glass in the beautiful double wooden doors is
hand-blown by an artisan near Guadalajara. |
|

|
Copa de Oro flowers peek in from the kitchen window. Our villa is named after these beautiful tropical flowers. |
|

|
Copa de Oro means "cup of gold" in Spanish, and we feel we found that cup of gold here in Manzanillo. |

|
Magical colors bounce along the whole stairwell and walls as you enter the villa through the stained-glass double-door entrance.
